When completed, we will have 14 homes able to take
care of a maximum 70 children. Each of our homes are built with the
highest quality in mind. They have a market value of |
 |
over $300,000, are 2-story, 6 bedrooms, 3 full and 2 half baths,
large playroom over garage,
full basement or extended storage space, and a beautiful fenced-in back yard. Five homes are
now completed and occupied with families. Our fifth home is an Americana theme in memory of the children who were
orphaned by the tragedy of 9-11-01.

"Giving frees us from the
familiar territory of our own needs by opening our minds to the unexplained
worlds occupied by the needs of others."

Our lodge is an all-purpose facility that is used for
a play area, a meeting area, for some of our events and can be rented to
businesses for meetings to seat up to 125 people. |
 |
The lodge also houses our staff offices and visitation
rooms. Our lodge was built primarily by the generous grant from the
Ogle Foundation.

There is nothing more peaceful than taking a walk
through our 13-acres of wetlands. Throughout our wetlands, there
is an integrated network of boardwalks that acts as a nature |
 |
lab for both children and adults. You'll
quickly be reminded of God's love for us with all His reminders of
nature--flowers, birds, wildlife, and the pond.

The youth from Grace Lutheran have taken on the
challenge of building our inter-denominational chapel. They have
aggressively raised over $8,000 and have met with the |
 |
architects. We are still a long way off from
completion, but we are continuing to trust God for the resources and
in His time. We welcome you to join in the journey by
participating in the "Picture This-Quarter Campaign" and filling empty
film canisters with quarters.
